These renamed global sources seemed to be capable of having different attributes to other similar global sources with a different name. So in OBS you was able to have global sources that had different names. Ok now I think I exactly why this worked perfectly fine in OBS and not OBS Studios.

I'll give the portable mode a shot though. I had no issues like this at all when using regular OBS. So I'm baffled at this point, this is definitely a bug. OBS changed all of my settings in the "duplicated scene" to the same settings as the "broken scene" EXCEPT for the switch scene hotkey. The original "broken scene" used Alt+F to switch to its scene. The hotkeys for this duplicated scene were 100% blank, so I created the hotkeys again, and even set it up EXACTLY THE SAME WAY except for one hotkey.
